Hey Bethany, I hate when it rains on a wedding! Makes our job so much harder. I really like #1 and #4. Would you like some constructive crit on the rest? Thanks....Chris

Cool, on the ring shot, what apperature did you shoot that at? Try and use a smaller one so that at least the whole the diamond is in focus. You'll have to get some more light in there to do that, but, it will show off that rock better.

Do you use a flash bracket? What type of diffuser do you use? On #3, she has a harsh shadow behind her head, like you just turned the camera over with the flash off to the side. Once I started using a bracket, this was eliminated. I fought using a bracket for a long time because of the bulk.....but then, I found the Reporter Flash Bracket. I really like it.

The leg/boot shot is killer!! I just don't care for the post processing. It kinda makes her leg look like it's dirty. But, that's only my opinion.

The kiss shot is sooo nice. But, her eye socket is dark. A little too dark.

I love the iPhone shot. People love those and think that it's really cool.
I hope this helps you a bit. Thanks.....Chris

Hey Chris, thanks for the info,

I used to use a bracket at my old job, and man were they bulky and a pain. I will check out what you suggested, I know I need one, I just want to find the right one. I do try to bounce the flash as much as possible and have some gary fong things i play with as well.

I agree, her eye make up doesnt help her eye socket at all, maybe iwill try to lighten it some,
and that boot shot, i will try to clean up her leg a little to remove the 'dirt' cause now that you said it , I totally see it.

Chris gave some good critiques, so adding anything would be unnecessary. I would be very unhappy having to work in those conditions, and fortunately have not had that happen yet. Thanks for sharing.
