A couple from last weekend

This is a wedding that I booked after doing a photo assignment at a coffee shop a few months ago. See the link here: Coffee Shop Patriots

One of the employees has a son who was looking for someone to shoot their wedding, so after discussing what they were looking for, we had a meeting and signed a contract.

This is just a few that I thought I'd share. I really like them, and I think that they will too.

Wow, these are sweet!

I'd maybe suggest that you try to bring back in some detail in her dress in all the couple shots, because the whites are blown in a couple of spots - otherwise I like the conversions.

On the ring shot, you did a great job capturing the hearts - the only thing is, I'd maybe next time get a Bible that has Scripture on the inside edges, rather than references. It'd be more meaningful, I think. I still like it, though.

Actually, the Bible was the groom's Father's. He was the one who married them, and the Bible holds sentimental value, because it was given to him in HighSchool. While it won't be readily apparent to everyone, it will be to the groom, and his family. Most of the Bible was marked up with notes and stuff like that... Thank you though, for the suggestion.

And, I will bring some of that detail back into the dress.

I like your PP, it gives the images a certain feeling... I do agree with Sis on the dress. Im pretty sure with what I see here that you wont have any problem bringing the details of her dress back in. Have some "K"

Aw, I do see some underlining on the left, now that you tell me about the Bible. I think that's super sweet.

I love the pose in #1 but I don't like the format. I would personally crop it to an 8 x 10 format instead of the 8 x 12 format it is currently. #2 is also a very nice image but again I just don't like the full frame format. The dress is blown out but it doesn't ruin the image for me.

I don't like the pose or the eyes of the bride in #3. Just doesn't work for me.

I have to give you some K for the awesome shot #4. Very nice job!

Thanks for your input. I an easily re-crop and bring some detail back into the dress9I shot RAW).

For the ring shot, i was trying to get them to both stand up, but it sill rendered nice hearts anyway...his ring just wouldn't co-operate!

Those are really great. Not keen on the ring shot. It bothers me that I can't see the diamond. But the first one is stunning, and more than makes up for it.
