Just wondering what you all think... This couple had a traditional Irish wedding and had their rings hand made in Ireland, I wanted to do some creative shots but focus very much on the detail of the rings.
I also posted this photo in Macro but I am looking from a wedding point here but macro there... ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks in advance Jackie__________________

Hello Jackie,
I like the third image best, the rings come out best in it. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that there's no reflection from the inside of the ring. In the first two the the reflections in the rings are too intensive, and specially in the second from the inside of the rings. They drown the knots in the rings. I had to take a closer look before I could make sense of the ring design, which isn't really a good thing if you want to highlight the rings. Korman |

I think the first is best. While I like the idea in the last, I feel that the background/surface the rings are on looks too buys and takes away from the rings.
I prefer the flower in the first, would maybe crop a little tighter The second image doesnt work for me, just too much going on. A tighter crop might safe it |

The direct flash is the enemy on the first two. If they had been lit similarly to the last, they would have been far superior. The settings are fine. The lighting, as in most cases, is what makes the difference.
