I like your locations, edgy. These certainly reflect your style. The only one with slightly less appeal is the last one due to the bright spot on the side of his head. Having said that my reason for raising the flash spot is that I don't know anyway to avoid that on a bald person. I was hoping you or someone might have a trick up the sleeve for working with that situation. Great set.

I spent at least half an hour powdering his head, but I totally missed that. Arg. :-(

Looks like someone is showing off their really nice logo. Did you do that yourself, or have it done? Very nice. Anyway, I like that hotspot on his head. It gives him character. I don't know if you are old enough to remember "Vegas" with Robert Ulrich <spell?> His sidekick badass mysterious baldheaded second on the show looks like this guy and that hot spot reminds me how he was shot on camera. Would look good with a long black trench coat and sun glasses

Great stuff. I like the different look of these images. One thing is that she's wearing a dress and he's dressed more casuallly. Did you ask her to dress casual? I had that same thing happen, but because the woman had a black dress and she wanted to look slimmer. I did ask her to dress casual, but she told me that she thought she would look to heavy. To which I replied, "It's not that important, really. You should wear what you feel comfortable in". So he came in jeans and she came in a dress. oh well

I tell them for engagements, "wear what you would wear on a date". Sometimes it bites me in the butt though. Thank you for the kind words!

Definatley edgy and for sure not traditional. Somehow with this couple the difference in clothes works for me, I like the individuality. I love the location. Do you object to saying what and where it is? I'm originally from Dallas, home is about an hour up the road. I don't want to horn in on your spot I'm just curious and I have a thing for old industrial sites. I prowled around here in VA for half a day at an old shut down factory.

No problem. It's a place called the "Old Cotton Mill" and it's located in McKinney, Texas. They shoot "Prison Break" there on occassion as well as some other TV stuff. It's neat because it has a pretty courtyard, but then the rest of it looks like a bombed out mess. It's like shooting in an uber urban environment without the hassle and the lookie loos.
I love doing bridals there too because it's a neat contrast between the sparkling white dress and the broken glass and so forth. Give me a call if you want and I'll give you the contact info.

Hey, that's great to know. McKinney is about half way between home and Dallas so, I"m somewhat familar with the area. I'll get in touch with you later about the contact details. I've got a lot of ground to cover to get back home. Likewise, since I am always on the lookout for these sorts of environments if I find another secluded one I'll let you know.
