I like it but I want to see the rest of the dress. These gals get upset about spending all this money on dresses and the darned photographers don't get the whole dress in the photo.

I really like the placement and all the negative space.

hey rodeoshooter! thanks for the feedback. unfortunately this was as far back as i could go without falling into the ocean. i think you are right about capturing the entire dress, i just was not prepared with the right gear.

very contemplative, with that ocean before her and her looking out over it. Nice way to show the thoughts of the sea of unknowns a future wife has. I'm not crazy about the arrangement of the dress either, but you addressed your limitations about that. Perhaps under the conditions it was the best that could have been hoped for.

Well dang! What are you missing. 1-2 feet of the dress. I like this image. As far as the arrangment. It lloks to me as the wind took it where it wanted to. When it comes to the beach we don't have much control over wind. Correct? So me me I like this image very much. I like how you can see her thinking deep thoughts of the lif ahead of her. This is a great shot and a keeper. Great capture and don't let anyone tell you different.

I think it's stunning. What is that white sliver at upper right?

Easily edited out.

I think this is a great shot. If you missed a few inches of her gown, I think she'll forgive you on this one shot considering how communicative it is! I this is something that we should all try to emulate in our photo-taking, not only the surface level details of composition, color, and format, but also the message in the image as well.
