Thanks guys for looking and taking the time to post a comment.
I liked the car shot as well and made it the cover of their proof album with their names just above the just married sign. It went over very well. As an aside, I used this wedding as my first run with using Blurb to do a proof book and it came out really well. |

Number 6 would be my favorite. I am glad to see we are picking up a little business here in the wedding forum. It gets a little dry.
] I have been using Blurb...I pay the extra and have my own logo put on the book. Makes me feel more comfortable. |

Bundy, super photos! My fav would have to be the back of the car shot also. Nice cake pic also!
Kelly and Bundy, when using Blurb, did you do your own layouts and import them into booksmart? or did you use booksmart to lay them out? I really wish that program had a better page lay-er-out-er thing. I think their templates are too static and plain. Any suggestions. Thanks...Chris |

I created my own layouts in PS and then uploaded them. Blurb, IMHO, is only good for doing your own layouts first.

#6 and the cake just rock. I'm glad things are picking up here, the inspiration is great.

Thanks again for the comments.
Kelly, I didn't know that you could use your own logo! I'v done a few more books since this wedding and never came across this tid-bit of information. Thanks, I'll definately look into this. I agree that the layouts are a little simplistic and I have gone and purchased foto fusion to allow me a little more creativity without so much work in PS. Like Kelly said you can also so do it in PS, but need to save them as jpg's so that you pull them in as full pages. |

I have found that You Select It is SUPREME software.
For the logo on Blurb books, look for custom logo. It only costs just a tad bit more...me thinks. |

The cake shot all the way!
Number one is great too, but I dont like the lighter area around her head. It looks like you archieved this look with the burn tool and were worried to get too close to her face |

Thanks Song! I've gotten alot of positive comments on the cake shot. I put that photo on the back of their proof book. The first thing she said when she looked at it was, "is that my cake!" She couldn't belive that it was the same cake.
I had time before the ceremony and went to the reception hall to shoot the cake with no pressure and time to play. I used an sb800 in a large umbrella camera right and sb600 behind the table with a homemade snoot with a brown gel on (i had just gotten the gel swatch pack and had gels on the brain). The shot on the alter was done with the lasso tool and an action that I found that darkens the surrounding area. I see what you mean about that halo and will have to watch for that in the future. __________________
