Default Hindu Weddings!

Hi everyone,

My girlfriend Jahnvee and I have been busy the last few weekends shooting weddings of all kinds. The material presented here is from two Hindu weddings we covered on the 14th and 23rd of October.

This was the collage we put together for the reception for a wedding we shot last weekend. There was pre-ceremony stuff happening on Friday, with wedding and reception on Sunday of the same day. Originally, we were contracted to cover ceremony and reception only, but in the end, we were eventually hired to cover about 2 hours of pre-ceremony material as well.

We had a 3 hour break between the wedding ceremony and reception on the 23rd, and we assembled the above collage during that time. The layout design, and most of the pictures on the left side, are hers, while the rest are mine. We presented to the reception party matted and framed. The couple was absolutely astounded that we could put it together so fast, and we got rid of quite a few business cards that day.

The following collage was made for a wedding we shot on the 14th of October. We had this ready for the reception on the 16th.

The clients were very happy with it, and we are contemplating putting together another complementary reception layout for them. I was thinking about using this image as the centerpiece for that collage, though I need to ask Jahnvee first of course…

These weddings are a blast, and we hope to shoot many more through referrals. They are so fun to shoot, though the post-processing is a real killer.

All critique and comments welcome!

Arka C.

I just love hindu weddings due to all the sparkly colors and patterns. It's so irresistable!!

Great job and nothing to complain about... oh yes, maybe... I WANT MORE!
