I do it the lazy way , I email the picture and stop it and then copy the attachment . They come out about 4 times the size of your sample .

With PS, i first convert image to SRGB, then "Save for Web." In that window, i can resize and adjust the quality to determine the size of the final. I usually shoot for about 600 pixels on the long side, and a file size of about 85 Kb. I save anything intended for post to the desktop, so that it can easily be trashed.
The file sizes as stated by PS are a bit off--i don't know why. |
