Default camerabox.co.uk Recommended UK supplier.

I would like to use this board to recommend http://www.camerabox.co.uk* I had ordered my new camera from www.savastore.com another UK company but lost confidence in their ability to deliver the goods. Camerabox was cheaper , had stock and were very friendly when I spoke to them on the phone.

Whilst it would be nice for Camerabox to provide a link back* or even take an ad on a page to offset cost's, I think this is unlikely. I believe that members would get better use from this thread by listing who is worthy of our hard earnt money and who we should avoid. I* am sure that someone will correct me on the subject.

Default Re: camerabox.co.uk Recommended UK supplier.

I've had superb service from Camera World, also in the uk (www.cameraworld.co.uk). I'm lucky in that their main london branch is just down the road from where I work, but they do mail order as well. The staff are helpful and efficient, and they've been more than happy to take back items I wasn't happy with. In one case they exchanged a four month old memory card for a more expensive model at no cost, which I was fairly shocked by!

They're also price competitive, although to be honest I'd be happy to pay a premium for decent service.

Cheers,

Tim.
