thank you for this, I am 6 months into photoshop 7 and struggling. for the past 6 years I had only Microsoft Digital Image 9 and did ok with it. your tutorial gave me understand of what curves is all about. very clear and to the point. i joined the forum this week to learn how to make my photo's better, this is a good beginning.

Interesting. There are a variety of ways to color correct, as you said, and this is certainly one of them. The best way, of course, is to get it right in the camera, using a white balance card.

BTW, in CMYK, "K" is for "black," not "Kelvin," though.

Thanks... I've thought about going back and updating the video to account for that mistake, but just haven't done it.
