Great video. I totally didn't know you could change brush size with the number keys. Shows some of my Photoshop idiocy huh? That was like finding a Snickers bar in a bowl full of jelly beans. Out loud I said Cool in my office. I love learning new shortcuts. Karma for you.

its the [ ] keys in a standard PS setup that changes size. The number keys changes opacity / flow (depending on what brush)

Cool! The dodge and burn tools themselves are very frustrating because even when you crank opacity down to single digits, the effect is pronounced. This method is more gradual. Thanks.

For me the beauty of this method, is that your are working on a layer, the original pixels are not touched!
