Default Photoshop for fun and profit

If your clients are like me, they have no idea what they look like in camera. Nor do they know the limitations of the environment.
Sure, you can shoot it "as is", but if you can anticipate what your client expects, you can sell a lot more photos, and have fun getting them ready for them.

1.
Here is the original. The bride hates her profile. I asked her why, and she stated it was about her nose and chin. She ordered this photo out of 100 photos as her enlargement photo. I was a hero because I took the "best profile photo ever". But was it camera work?
Original:

2. Or photoshop work?

Here is a bride I just shared with everyone. She was very upset that her gown was "too poofy" and her hair had fallen.

3. This is the actual photograph

4. And here is the same girl with a non poofy dress and big Texas hair.

Are we limited by our enviorments? Nope. Photoshop makes our world a whole lot bigger, and more colorful if we choose.
5.

6.

And we all do the boring shot, but you never know what is in the heart of the client. In a few seconds, some really distracting crap was removed

7.

LittleGal,

You are too popular! You have exceeded your available bandwidth on photobucket.

Take care,
Harry

Harry,
I think I fixed the problem. Let me know if you still can't see the photos.
Hugs,

LittleGal,

Sorry LittleGal but I still see just the icon from Photobucket that says you have exceeded your bandwidth and "encourages" you to upgrade to pro.

I'm looking forward to being able to see your images.

Darn, I couldn't find the preview thingie. I tried to copy and paste the original, and I can probably see them, while you guys still can't.
I guess I'll have to upgrade to pro.
I have no idea where all the traffic is coming from. I've never had that problem before.

You can repost all you want, but all we're seeing is this. Why not use the PhotoCamel Gallery, and link from there?

I just upgraded to pro. I'm not sure how long it will take to process though.
Sorry for the problems guys.

they are showing up now - in fact, twice

The "preview thingy" is right next to "submit reply"

Nice photoshop work -good examples of how something quick and easy can make a big difference.

Now, now, Val, I'm sure your partner is good--you barely know littlegal, after all j/k

Very nice photos, Littlegal, I really liked the one with the added color near the shed.

Cheers
Craig

Whew! I'm glad they finally showed up and you liked them.
I was starting to think after all the drama on the missing portraits you guys might be let down....

I have one more week off before wedding season kicks in full steam, so I'm hoping to put together some nice retouching/photoshop tutorials for folks.

Hi Stephanie,
How about I show you in screen capture tomorrow, how I acheived both. Hubby just got home, and he's HUNGRY. LOL.
Poor guy can't make a cheese sandwich.
I'll hook up again tomorrow morning and show you, ok?
Have a great night.
Hugs,
Cindy
