Default Portrait Photography books
Hi,
Can anyone suggest a good overall single/family portrait posing guide book? All I have seen so far are ones for either single female, or just family.

I did a shoot last weekend, and the photos came out okay, but something just looks a little off. I need guidance!

It was a family of four, and I didnt want to do the same old thing, but getting small children to cooperate is hard!

Look down the list of posts on this forum about four entries to the tutorial by Benji on the Rules of Portraiture. I think this is some of the best reading on the subject that I've ever found. I would start there!

Christopher Grey: Master Lighting Guide (excellent IMHO, not so much on groups though). For families do a search on Amazon.

Posing of singles and families: Marc Cleghorn: Secrets of Posing and Lighting (some great advice)
