Here is a quick way to add some punch and drama to your images, We will use the HSL feature in the Develop Module as well as a few Presets.

That user preset I used was called 300v1 it was a download I got from doing a search on presets. It adds a alot of black to your image as well as a harsh contrast adjustment. Just like the title says it's going for the gritty, punchy look of the movie "300".

Presets for Lightroom typically go in a folder (on Windows PC) similar to this:

C:/Documents and Settings/your-login-name/Application Data/Adobe/Lightroom/Develop Presets/

Usually you can put them in a folder in there and they will be in a folder when you look in the Preset panels. Or put them in one called "User Presets"

Just go to the Develop module and right click on any available preset and and choose import. Once the import window shows, just select the new preset files and Lightroom will copy the preset files to the respective folder on your computer.
