The short [the first] version is not untrue. It's
just written in a very brief form and assumes
that those who use it as an operational motto,
like "F-A-S-T" or "f:8 and be there", understand
the unspoken basics.

Just in case someone doesn't get what I'm
saying ... consider "f:8 and be there". A more
complete version, with much of the unspoken
basics now spoken, would be "f:8, wind shutter
and insert flash bulb, set 'FP-synch', insert film
holder, pull dark slide, and BE THERE."

OK ?
