Default Harriers in TX

We got quite a good day on 8-17-2013 in KAFW Ft worth Alliance. Was hoping for some F-16 from our local sqdrn but 2 weeks in the row on the sat and they did not fly. Just my luck.
Got into a great day when 3 VMFA 542 from Beaufort MCAS came in on Fri... got news they are going to leave the SAt Afternoon....We caught them engine up and doin all the preflights.... taxi by us and do short field take off ...
Other traffic include a KC-135 from March AFB.... 2 Laughlin T6 take off .... one did some touch and go options ....
C-130 from ROpers from the local TX ANG came in to land
Navy VC9 came in to land and took off after the HArriers.
Enjoy!

Very cool photos. Where can you get such a clear view to get such good shots?
