Steve beat me to it.
It's a T-6 Texan. The US's primary trainer during WWII. Some were even used as forward command planes. They create a deep metal rattling sound when fired up or flying. Flaps down tells me the old 'bird was either taking off or most likely landing. I shoot ALOT of military aircraft and I see these trainers just about every place we go. Great planes. |

Thanks Steve and Mark for the continued investigation. I love taking photos of the old planes, but I must admit, I'm not very good at identifying them.
