The Speed of Karma

Is there a way I can predetermine the Karma points that I can give to someone, either as a reward for the "Fun Stuff" or posts that inspire me to give that person recognition/reputation? I don't believe I am "stingy" when it comes to giving out "K", but it can be frustrating to have to keep a list to those members that I "owe", and make them wait! I know that there is a need for "safeguards", as explained in the tutorial, but I come across some members that have 2 posts, and have 200+ Karma points!?? Must have friends in high places! Could you clarify the method, or equation? TIA

Well, I give 6 points of k. I figured it out by giving you k when you had 1070, and now you have 1076 . I know some members like rain lilly give more than 200 in a go so I think it depends on your post count and your level of k.

It does depend on your number of posts, the time you have been a member and how much karma you have yourself.

I agree it would be nice to be able to give differing amounts of karma. One problem would be hurt feelings because of the amount of k you give someone. Just a thought.

Well I just did a check and I give 11. Not a lot but it is fun to give and to receive, no matter how little or how much.

Oh folks...I apologize if I came across as 'K' as a measure of "worth" on this site! I value the contributions and thoughts of every member of this forum, whether it be a absolute "newbie", or a sage veteran! Golly...I've mentioned somewhere here before that "Karma" is a reward for posting images of worth, ideas, humor and contributing to the future of this forum, given by members that want to recognize fellow members for their contributions! Oh my...please don't misjudge me just for asking how it works!

Can we cash in the K for cash??

I gave you 10 K for a good K question Trapman. I am a 10 K hitman. I tried to take some of Lori's and give them to you, but that does not work.

Lori has about a 5 k to 1 post ratio, but I am now hitting close to 15 to 1. Ya, ya, she has more volume of K, but my K value per post is way higher.

I figure that if I keep on growing expediently the way I have, by the time I hit 1000 posts, I will have about 47 trillion K.

I love giving karma to others. I have been blessed many times over by others giving me karma. I'll admit when I first came here I loved getting it, but now the main reason I like having a high karma total is so I can give a big shot to others. I think I can give something like 117 right now.

Just messing with ya. Personally, I think it's a fun thing to do but honestly, it's something that some people take seriously and some don't. I very seldom even notice my karma count unless someone points it out to me but I do like giving it because I feel like maybe I made someone smile or have a better day.
