I usually access photocamel in the evening from my laptop in while watching TV with my DH. I got on today from my desktop, and I'm not having the problem with the red x's. So, it must have something to do with my laptop.

Any kind of internet filter or image blocker on the laptop? Perhaps a work laptop that blocks stuff?

It's my personal laptop, not a work laptop. I have Norton 360 running, but not sure about any internet filter or photo blockers, but I usually see all other photos on other websites. Thanks for trying to help me troubleshoot.

This would be my guess. Norton 360 is an internet security package and it may somehow be blocking the images, though I'm not sure why since they are also on Photocamel as attachments. Might look to see how to add exceptions to the built in rules.

I searched Norton forums for similar problems. Another user was told to turn off the Phishing and Firewall settings to see if pictures would load. After turning them off, pictures did load. After I turned them back on, pictures are still loading... Don't know what made the difference, but at least I can see pictures now.
