Mail Notification Issue

Even though I have the option set to No Mail Notification for subscribed threads I continue to get mail. I've toggled it a couple times with no change.

Is this a known issue?

I have the same problem! I hate seeing emails saying "so and so has replied to your post". I don't want to get an email telling me someone has replied. I'll find that out the next time I come to the forums. Have you got to delete subscriptions, after every post? If so, I'll quit posting. Why can't I stop all subscriptions..............permanently?

You can turn this feature off. Go to the menu Quick Links -> Edit Options -> Messaging & Notification. There are a lot of ways you can customize how the forum works. Lots of people rely on these notifications; some don't want 'em. Explore the options panel.

For currently subscribed threads, you can turn off notification in the thread itself under Thread Tools.

Ok, I went to QuickLinks > Edit Options > Messaging, and under the heading "Default Thread Subscription Mode", I already have it set to "No email notification". I thought I had set it there, but making sure. It's been set there all along, and I still get emails. Do I need to stop email from Administrators to stop it?

Nope. I set it for you. You should be good to go.

Yup. There are no reports of issues.
