I like the expression on his face, but I think you've got too much DOF there, also, a tighter composition that cuts out the menus and Perrier logo would be nice.

I disagree.

It is two interdependent photos and without the right-hand part it wouldn't work. It shows beautifully the man's separation from the world outside. If you crop it to the window frame - still quite nice maybe but then a lot weaker.

For me, menus and Perrier logo simply add to its atmosphere.
