Photojournalism from the Sept. 24 DC protests <please critique>

I was at the DC war protests yesterday and took about 300 photos, of those I posted about half to my website and am open to any constructive objective critique on them if anyone would like to help me improve my technique.

Well, nobody else will, so I will. Don't mean to take sides, so this is my politically correct comments.

The first would be a better image if you could read what the sign said. Looks like a snapshot of someone you know.

The second is interesting, and humorous. Kind of tells a story, especially with Cheney.

The third is a good group shot of just some of the massive amount of people who turned out, and is probably the best "protest story" image in this group.

The fourth shows some emotion, but the facial expression is hard to read. I can read what is on the shirt, and some may not like the language.

The last is the best "emotion" shot here. Don't know what she is feeling or trying to say, but it shows some emotion.
