Default Theatre Lighting

Trying to get a handle on shooting with theatre lighting. Also experimenting with Nik Software Dfine 2 noise reduction software. Comments, hints and improvements gladly accepted. Thanks

So far so good! The hardest part of any theatre photos is trying to capture what the lighting designer intended. This is a situation that Auto white balance can struggle with, but luckily you've done a good job so far on that front. Noise seems a non-issue to me with these photos.

Woo! Another Calgarian! I'm not alone on this forum!

I like to shoot people with my Canon all day! The only red you'll see though is on the end of my lens...

Thanks for that. Nice to meet another Calgarian as well.

There was quite a bit of noise but Dfine took it out. I have Noise Ninja as well but I ithnk Dfine works a bit better.
