Default Urban Message

This is a somewhat of a break from the norm for me. I noticed this disused building at lunchtime and the message on the door and the colours grabbed me. I thought it would be a good image to work on in PS and have tried a few things out.

Honest critique would be most appreciated. My PS technique is rubbish I know, any tips on framing effects would be great.

What do you think?

Thanks

A nice image.

I'd try (leave) it in B&W, and put a thin black "stroke" around it. Stroke is a PS term (basically a border), and if you use something like 2 pixels, outside the image, it would stand out pretty good. Let me know if you need help, or post a question in the "Image Editing" forum, and you'll get help there...

Thanks. I know what you mean and will try that out.

Cheers

The black and white looks great (all the textures) but I really like the color version a lot!* Great eye! And personally, I like this particular image with no frame...or just a very narrow black frame would work too (my opinion!).

Thanks for the comment Elaine.

I agree about the frames.

Cheers
