I like these. Looks like you planned your compositions well as they make me want to look closer. There are nice saturated colors and a good presentation. It is difficult to pick a favorite. For me it would be between 3, 5, and 6 and hard pressed I might pick 5. You did a great job and it looks as though the lens is a winner.

these are really nice photos...
... for some reason, I was expecting more of the wild kind of wide angle look but these while wide aren't out of bounds wide by any stretch..

they look neat and very very tidy... and not at all like what a new user of the super wide 10-20 might shoot.

The colour in the fire shot is superb. and the last view of the canal is particularly well done. The reflection of the trees and sky is arresting.

may look like a fire, but it is'nt. It is just the sunset behind some steam clouds coming from the powerplant of a chemical industry site.

Thank you and Padre for the nice comments.

Very cool pictures!! great endorsement for that lens as well Personally I like #3 and #6 the best. #3 has some really nice color reflections which are awesome, and 6 is just a great perspective deep picture!! I wish the sky was a bit more interesting on #6, but still a terrific shot! Really nice job and thanks for sharing

I just picked up this lens a few weeks ago, too. Very nice lens. I just went out in our front yard and shot a few. I haven't had the time for much more. Your images make me want to make time. Very nice series.

Very nice, #3 is the pick of the crop for me.

I'm getting the 10-20mm (as in, it's in the post!!) for my D80. Looking good!

I'm thinking you should be very happy with your purchase. I recently purchased the Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 and believe I like it, but am not experienced enough to know if I really like it. I wonder if I should have considered the Sigma.

I couldn't tell which one I liked the best. I wanted to like the one with the tree being trained to branch in a circle, some good compositional elements there, but it was not my favorite. I think I am going with #6, the clarity in the DOF is amazing. How lucky you are to have beautiful things to photograph.
