Default FruitLife

From a series I recently photographed. Tried to think of the fruit in a different light. Taking it out out of the "looks yummy" environment. Let me know what you think.

It is definitely different, might be interesting to show it in the context of perhaps making ice cream and including some utensils or giving it a purpose to be in that frozen state. What are you using for light?

Thanks Nick! I like your suggestions. I have my main bouncing off foamcore from the right back. A light hitting the background. Foamcore bounce. In the case of the first photo I have a hairlight coming in from the left.

Instead of still life I'm inclined to believe it should have been placed in the abstract forum since it is very abstract. .

I like the last two the best. I think it would look cool (no pun) printed about 40 inches wide

Thanks yous guys. I like the printing 40" wide idea. Printing big is the true test of any image. Plus it simply looks magnificent.

first off this is NOWHERE near being abstract photography ( at least in it's classical definition ) ,only two forums this could've been in , either food / culinary or here in still life . it is definitely a different approach & interesting , i'm cold just looking at them . i'd like to see some more shots from the series ?
