I'd say B&W too. And I agree with some cropping top and bottom, but I'd keep the space to the right to avoid that the planes fly into the border too much.

Can you give me a example of what you mean. I tried to go back and do some cropping but nothing looks right to me.

Thanks Cedric, I can be kind of symetrical from time to time. I do like the crop.

why not do a compromise, and work up a layer mask gradient with a channel mixer layer? The right can be color and it slowly fades into b&w..
