I submitted a few photos to the local paper, of last weekends game, and they ran this one. Hopefully I can capture some more like this at this weekends level 3 playoff game

Congrats, Scott. Any chance of them taking you on as a freelance / stringer and paying you to cover games? That's what I do for the local paper. In fact, in Wednesday's paper, I had 6 images in it. 2 basketball, 2 soccer, and 2 football games shot on 3 different days (paper is twice weekly). It doesn't pay a lot, but it pays for all my gear over time.

That's what I'm hoping this leads to. The publisher is actually the one who is the leading sports photographer for the paper--weekly, but misses alot of games and usually is only at a game for 10 minutes, just to get a few pictures, ANY pictures for the paper.

That photo above, once seen in the paper, sure brought alot of traffic to my website though, and that lead to a lot of sales
