Hehe Steve. Man, I already have umpteen requests for that spot...lol. It would be great to have a friend shooting with you, or someone carrying something...but they are tight with the passes. But it seems that there are way too many people "watching" the game from the sidelines. I had to move 3 different times due to people stepping across the line and blocking my shot.

I bet you do have a bunch of requests for that! Biggest game I've gotten to shoot was MTSU (Middle TN State) and it still wasn't too crowded on the side lines.
If you have a minute, look at the football pics I've posted and see if you can see anything for me to work on. I linked them below. College Football HS Football ... We Finally Won a Game |

I don't really care for the first one. You're a bit late with your timing on it, and it's neither here nor there.
Timing is pretty good in the rest of them. The shot of Ingram would look better cropped tighter and vertical on just him, as the sideline is coming into focus and distracting with all the coaches clad in white. Good job getting Mt. Cody making the block. Was that the first block, or the game-winning one? Quote:
When I was shooting at University of Tennessee the sidelines were packed, but the stadium staff was super reasonable, and as long as I wasn't being a distraction to game operation I could basically move through wherever I wanted to (including the home bench) if there were fans/band members/etc. blocking my path. Also, I noticed that instead of hounding the photographers, the yellow jackets were helping the fans take group pictures in the stands.... |

Nice set of images, I really like the last one, it was the defining moment in the game.

That block was the first. When I was setting up for the second, I rolled my AV to f8 for some added DOF for a better chance to capture it, but I forgot my TV...so I shot it dark! I was able to lighten it enough to see that the ball was also on his arm in it...but it is unuseable...ugh!

What an awesome set of images. My only problem is the wrong team won that game.
![]() ![]() Seriously, even being an Auburn fan, Mark Ingram is awesome. I've never seen a single player take over a game the way he did against the Chickens (South Carolina) Karma on the way. ![]() ![]() |

Daniel Moore is using the block photos in his next painting! He should have a sketch on his site by Friday. I think he said he was interested in the body composition of Cody in that shot. That is exciting! http://www.newlifeart.com |
