Default two versions...which is better?

hey guys just retooling a few old photos to kill some time. I'm not a huge fan of selective coloring usually but something about this one kinda sticks with me.

What do you think?

Strongly prefer the vignette on the first one.

Great shot!

I find the blur on the background a little disconcerting, but the bike itself seems frozen. Maybe panned with slightly too fast shutter speed for a smooth blur?

I like the first, but didn't think it was because of the selective color - just the toned down color compared to #2. The areas that were selectively uncolored aren't real strong color spots anyway, so I just wondered how it would look toned down, but not un-colored.

I probably should have taken care of the green glow on the left, but didn't notice that until I was done.

I took the second shot and changed the saturation and hue to closer match the first. No selective coloring. I think the rider looks better on the second. I masked him out of that HSL adjustment layer leaving him fairly untouched. I did brighten his face a little.

I didn't mess with the vignette - no strong feelings on that.

I like the color of the first one better...the ramp looks more natural to me
