Default Rice invitational - All Jumpers
Got an assignment in Houston today. While i was shooting some other area of the Rice invitational track Meet I also took some Jumpers and Vaulters. Hope you like them i tried some different angels today.

These are great. Glad you posted them here. Some nice gritty facial expressions and the curves in trying to make the bar are nice. I think #3 stands out for me, but the others are fine too. The thrill of victory in the last one is pretty cool. Wish the green umbrella thing wasn't there.

Great shots. It's a real shame these kids will never get the exposure given to the kids playing the sports where you are most successful primarily because of your physical make-up, not your effort or determination. Just the expressions on the faces tells the story.

I head what you’re saying about the tent. i was trying to match up the Texas and USA flags at the adjacent baseball field with what she is wearing. i also don't like the Orange water coolers in the High Jumper shot but I just could not get around it on those two.
