I went through some more of my pictures of the Hillsboro, Oregon airshow. Like those in the other thread, there were shot with my 1DMKII and 100-400 lens.
Here is a trainer out of Canada ![]() This was a pretty neat looking MIG-17 ![]() It had the funniest little after burner flame ![]() ![]() And then there was the signature flight of the P-51 and A-10 together ![]() Thanks for looking. Mike __________________

The uniform background would make it easy to cut them out with auto select and use them in other pictures ...

Yea, a lot of the sky was a very even gray for part of the day. Doesn't make for very dramatic shots though.

Thanks Jared. Some planes do look better against a deep blue sky. At least the rain held off, although the Thunderbirds weren't able to do their high act because they didn't have the 10 mile visibility. I'd like to get up and see the show on Puget Sound, but the crowds on that one are hard to get around.
