DC, I do hope the Red Arrows make it down here one of these days. I haven't seen them, but I have heard that they put on a really excellent show. There is a European team that is also suppose to be very exciting at shows.

I saw the Red Arrows for years and thought they were like any other display team and then I saw them about six years ago at a large show and they really did leave the rest of the display teams [and there were a lot of them that day] looking very average . The thing with these guys is as soon as they've pulled of one stunt more appear instantly to pull off another stunt ,its none stop action and they seem to do a lot of fast stuff very low
so you can see just how close they really are.
Hope you get to see them .

Jared, they did a pretty good show. I didn't get a lot of pictures of them because that was after my Image Tank batteries had died and I only had the CF cards that were empty to last the rest of the show and I didn't know how many pictures I'd want to take before the end. I had plenty of space left so I wish I had gotten more of them.

Great pictures Mike. I enjoyed them very much!! That new T6 Texan II is a pretty incredible plane. Picture # 2 is great. I am looking forward to the airshow at Fairchild AFB here in Spokane, WA. The Blue Angels are going to be here. I have never had the pleasure of seeing them before and I am really looking forward to it. I have seen the Thunderbirds several times now. Also the F22 demo team is going to be here. I have a new Sony A700 and hope that I can get some good shots. Although, I am afraid that they may pale in comparison to yours. Any tips?
The picture of the F18 is also a very fine catch. I must be mistaken. I thought that breaking the sound barrier was a no no so close to people and the ground. I would have LOVED to have been there and seen and heard it!!

(chuckle) thank you !! I am just repeating what he did to me.. when I posted my photo essay of eskimo's living out on the ocean ice. High in the Arctic Eskimo.. !!
