Season Ends - Football
I haven't posted anything new in a while because I've been shooting night football - tough lighting to take anything really interesting.
Here are a few quick images from the IHSA 8A Semi-Championship game... A cold day, which threated snow throughout the game. Image #1 was shot with a D2h, 18-70mm lens - all the others were shot with a D2h, 300/2.8. #1 - Fans Excited at the start of the game:  #2  #3  #4 - Coughing up the ball  #5 - Blocked Pass  #6 - Passing game was pretty much shut down the whole game.  #7 - Clock Winds Down. That is some fantastic work. You have a great talent for your sport shooting. You capture the right moment and emotion perfectly. I am still wondering if the guy in #3 cut back and had a long gain, or was tackled right there, and in #4, did he lose the ball, did the other team get it. Great work.

Love the first one of the fans. Looking good here, don't see anything that bothers me, except maybe the out-of-focus player dominating in number 6... only so much you can do sometimes.
