Volvo Ocean Race 2011-12 - Lisbon

Hi

Ten days ago, I was in Lisbon for business and totally unaware that the Volvo Ocean Race was having a stopover in Lisbon during my stay. I did not have the ideal camera, I was especially lacking a longer lens to get closer action, but the weather sealed K-5 and DA* lenses were definitely helpful as I managed to get accredited and was able to take the photos from the press zodiacs.

Yeah, not sure there is a bad one. A very nice set of images, despite you wanting a longer lens, which you really didn't need for these.

Nice shots although being in the marine industry, I could never figure out why Volvo, one of the worlds larges providers of marine propulsion units sponsors a sailboat race... Funny thing is, my Volvo rep can't figure it out either. Did I mention nice shots? Thanks for sharing.
