Default roller derby

went to the roller derby for the first time.
tried indoors,no flash.it was tough getting good shots, since i needed at least f2.8 and 1/200 for a shutter speed at a minumun to minimize blur.
It was my first attempt at an indoor sports event

Can you provide some exposure information. The framing and timing are pretty good. You created some nice images. Looks like you were at the extreme end of the iso performance of your camera.

I like these for what they show, a bunch of girls and moms, mixed age and fitness level, having some fun slugging it out on roller skates. Cool way to stay fit!

I have shot a Roller Derby and it was one of the darkest places, I have shot. I do a lot of High School sports and this place was the worse, So feel for you.
But looking at your exif, your ISO is from 100 to 3200, why? f/stop from 1.8 to 4.5? What camera mode were you using?
I shot in manual mode and forced everything at the highest ISO and largest Aperture that I could shoot.

it was my first time shooting indoors at a sporting event so I tried a lot of different settings to see what would work best I was using pretty much the largest aperture I could,I used different lens ranging from a 50mm 1.8 to a 18-270 3.5-6.3
