but I don't really feel comfortable adding edits to a picture where I don't have the permission. At least, I would hate it if someone did it to mine. I think it would be preferable if the proper permission were granted, best would be if it was one of your picture - we're here on a photography site after all, aren't we?

I am 70 and during WWll rabbit was a supper time menu. A friend wanted to go in business in the 90's raising and selling them prepared at the grocery store. I told him that kids would think of the Easter bunny or Bugs and not want to eat them. So he canned the idea. Great idea for the challenge.

My grandmother berated me once because I bought a rabbit without head from the butcher. During WWII and immediately afterwards during occupation by the allied forces, when you bought rabbit without a head there was a big chance that it didn't live in a field but on the roof - we live here in the middle of Europe. In German there's still the expression Dachhase (roof rabbit) for cats.

As to skinned and frozen rabbit, it's available here in most supermarkets.

Man---that's a lucky bunny to have a good looking girl riding him. I will pick a winner tomorrow because I have to go for some medical problems the next few weeks.

All are great and it makes my job difficult to pick a winner. I am selecting lesmcluckie, because of the way he made the snow tracks look so real. I will not be able to participate in the 194 challenge, so have a great time.
