Ellbee...lol!! You crack me up. Definately Star Wars influenced.
Speaking of I have a question for you. In Return of the Jedi both The Emperor and Darth Vador are trying to get Luke to The Dark Side. However, in Episode I if you remember Yoda saying there can be only 1 Sith and 1 apprentice. At that time they didn't know which Darth Mahl was. So, back to ROTJ, Who was going to kill who? Was Darth Vador gonna kill the Sith Lord and become the Sith himself with Luke as the apprentice. Surely he knew one of them had to die. Or was the Sith Lord hoping Luke would kill Vador and become his apprentice. If that's the case Vador would have realized that and not try to bring Luke to the Dark Side. But in TESB, Darth Vador clearly ask Luke to join and and together they will rule the Galaxy as father and son. In that case was the sith lord simply just unaware of the force. I have always been puzzled by that. Your thoughts. |

There was a line by Palpatine to Luke something like this: Join me and replace your father by my side. I think it was during the battle in the second death star. In fact I think it was at the point where Luke had Vader at his mercy and could have killed him that Palpatine said that. Vader then knew he was done for so he tossed Palpatine into the pit then Vader died no more Sith.
