Here is my attempt to try new things....flipped to B&W, adjusted the dark and light areas, rotated it a bit more "flat", and added something too....

Yay me for an honourable mention! I'm loving these because I've only ever won something once before (another honourable mention, but the only photographer in the whole art show to win anything so I was pleased as punch). Wahooo...bring on the next on Mr. Pickles!
