Default Sony a7R III or α9 for weddings?

Is there any wedding photographers here who use Sony a7R III or α9 for weddings? Any feedback? Is AF fast and accurate with NO native lenses? IS AF fast with Canon or Nikon lenses?

Thanks!

I would chose native glass. Best thing to do test it your self. Just rent the a7r III and a9 with a Sigma or Metabone V adapter.

There are also many test on youtube you can check. Best thing to do is test it your self.

For my self happy camper with the a7r III and a7r II wit native glass like the 16-35, 24-70GM 70-200GM Zeiss Loxia Batis etc.....

Don't bother with Nikon glass, but most Canon glass would work fine. Money aside the a9 is better for weddings, but they will both be great.

If it happens to work nicely

Have you ever tried Canon glass on an a7r iii or a9?
I have tried it on both though not in the field. The Sigma mc-11 works really well on most Canon lenses. The a7r iii sucked at focusing in general, but the III is good and should work fine.

You mean the a7r 3 is better than the a7r 2, right?
