Post If you can't beat them...

Apparently, if you can't beat them, try and entice them to come on over by buying their gear.... that is Sony wants and is willing to give you something for your certain gear for their a9, or any camera really for their other models.....

I run Sony video gear, and Id have to say.. some of the best images Ive ever captured on a camcorder (but still cannot compete with my D5300's video quality)

I am looking at another Sony camcorder, the
HDR-CX900.

^(copy & paste text)^

My 5300 does a stunning job on video, but there are still many applications where a REAL camcorder will perform "better", and the CX900 has manual modes!!

Those new Sony digital cameras sure do look nice, and capture an impressive image!

Maybe they want to get a few more Nikon folks over before the D850 hits the streets...

You can get the $500 off plus the street value of your current camera by trading in, but the ones that qualify are limited and tend to be a target of sorts. Like you can't trade in a Olympus E-M1 mkII or a Panasonic GH-5.... so they think them not the same class or type of shooter I guess.

They only pay 70% of street value though, I've had better luck on EBay and then purchasing what I want. They are awesome cameras however and the EV finder is just plain old great.
