Favorite lens on Sony DLSR?

No way. I didn't leave Sony because of the noise but because of the lack of video.
But the high ISO performance is a huge bonus as well.

Sony has VERY high ISO performance, it's just to damn noisey LOL I still love your shots! you really have 'developed" LOL

Yeah and the biggest development was me getting a new monitor. Go figure.
The a700 had the best layout physically I believe. Still fumbling around with the Canon.

I really miss my Minolta 50mm f/1.4 and 28-135mm.

I keep thinking that at some point I want to add a 24-105 Minolta or a 28-135 Minolta, but the hs 200mm 2.8 is my goal first. it's only money right

28-135mm has blazing fast focus since it is a rear focus lens. It's almost as fast as the 200mm f/2.8 HS.

HMMM, might make a good lens for basketball and vollyball, The trusty Tamron 70-200 2.8 just isn't the fastest in less then ideal light. I also shoot a fair amount of basketball at 135 with the Tamron.
