Its good to see another name in the game. I'm a Nikon guy. Not because I'm head over heels in love with them. Its part of a system and what you buy into. So many accessories and lenses become part of what you do that you get brand loyal. We've got 17 cameras in 4 trailers spread over the whole East Coast. There are nearly 30 lenses, 5 flash systems and could be as many as a dozen shooters working any one day. Things need interchangability.

If someone is starting out and finds a camera that will fit their need THATS the camera they should use. The benefit to all this is compition and price. Canon and Nikon have owned a market for decades. If Sony becomes a player things improve for us all.

Recently returned from two trips to the Czech Republic and Germany. We spent time in Cesky Krumlov and Prague and Cologne. I do not recall seeing one Sony DSLR. Saw lots of varied P&S cameras from all makes but saw mainly Nikon and Canon. Could be that I shoot Nikon and just did not notice the Sonys. I have way too much invested in Nikon to change brands but I do notice that Sony is getting more popular and wonder if the A900 will lure any Pros. I still recall the Sigma Foveon models including the new 15 model now released and they just never caught on to the masses.
