Photography is my hobby. I always gets crazy for photography. I bought CyberShot DSC-W100 of Sony for just $207.99 from Planetonline.com. It is an ideal camera for starting out right in digital photography, combining the quality of 8.1 megapixels and Carl Zeiss 3X optical zoom, the performance of High Sensitivity mode for great low-light shots, the simplicity of on-screen Function Guide for easy setup.

Hey, I have one of these!

This is one great little camera. Great AF, EF, lens resolution, colour, macro, even bokeh. Excellent on-board trimming. It even has a very handy OVF.

When visiting family, it is the only camera you need to take with you: great results every time. It also takes great outdoor shots, including scenery. I love it!

The only problem is: it is a hard act to follow. I can't see myself spending 2 to 3 times as much (and more) for "less" for a DSLR!

I have -finally- worked out how to upload pictures into the galleries section of this website, phew!!!

This is no mean feat for an elderly "fart" rapidly approaching retirement from the age of the log tables and slide-rule (who couldn't even turn on a computer just a few short years ago).

I actually worked it out: can't believe it!!!!

However, I have successfully entered several pics taken with my Sony Cybershot DSC W-100, with which I feel quite pleased, and which, I feel, illustrate what the W-100 can do in "P" mode.
