Default A few lighthouses in Portland Maine

Hello from Maine,

My daughter, her friend, and I were so hot this August afternoon, I decided we should escape to the coast and hopefully catch a cool breeze. I was able to snap 3 houses.

Cape Elizabeth Light :

I wasn't able to get to a good vantage point - it's on private property and I couldn't find a long term parking spot so I had to stay within view of the car, I saw a rocky shoreline I may have been able to climb around on to get a better shot - but I didn't want to bring the girls down on the sharp rocks and the car thing, so we had to bug out quickly. Maybe next time a better shot.

Ram Island Ledge Light :

As seen from the Portland head lighthouse park. This is the best view I could get with a 200mm lens - I will return with more power!

Portland Head Lighthouse :

This one was easy to get to, it's a park

And my traveling buddies :

Thanks for looking
Craig

Thanks

I bought a bigger lens and heavy tripod so I can return and capture that island lighthouse. It's about one and a quarter miles out to sea.

Next time I'll have more glass and more time

Have fun!
Craig
