Default Snapshots with a 0,1Mp camera

Today I took an old camera I found back this weekend for a walk through my home town.

The camera ( in fancy pink! ):

It can store 18 pictures in "highest" resolution, no memory cards, it needs battery power to keep them! Battery empty: pictures gone.
The viewfinder is retractable, and highly inaccurate.., as you can see below. There's no preview screen.
Highest resolution: 352x288, and it can shoot video!
Oh, for lens fanatics: it's a F2.8, 3.9mm lens

Snapshots of my home town:

Yes... it's a UFO!

Andre

Very interesting. I need to dig through my old photography equipment and find my first digital camera and try the same thing you did. Thanks for sharing these photos, and the info on the camera.

Actually, it was not my first digital camera.I bought this one in a toy shop a while ago.
But it's a good idea, yes.

Hi Andre, not bad for 0.1mpx, although hardly a camera that I'd consider shooting a wedding with ... not even for my lowest budget deal!

Oh dreadful But a delightful reminder of how bad consumer digital was in it's infancy - I used to have cameras that made pics like this !!! They weren't especially cheap at the time either.

Here is another thread with a keychain camera, only a modern one with a good price tag.

Thought provoking post Keep up the good work

Craig
