I've been a member on here for a while but have never actually posted anything. I've looked around quite a bit at many different photos and finally decided I wanted to give it a shot. I used a digital camera on all of these photos so I figured they best fit the snapshots category. Comments, criticism, and anything else welcome and appreciated!
The first 3 were taken in January of this year with a Samsun Digimax S500. The last 3 were taken this month with my newer camera, a Nikon CoolPix P50.

Congratulations on your first post. Let me be the first to give you some vitimin K. I like the one under the peir, the repeating pattern is cool. Keep shooting!

I remember how scary my first post here was. You will find this a great place and lots of help is available. I always enjoy interesting signs, good spotting. Your pier shot is cool as well.

Well, good for you on your first post of images. I am still trying to get there. My observation of this forum is that people here have incredible insight and experience to offer. While I am at a much more modest level than most, I also like the pier shot with the repeating patterns . . . however, the second one of the pigeons not only has nice composition, texture, and colors, but it has a bit of humor in it as well. Wonder what they are saying?
