Taken on the second last day of a weeks ride around the highest country in Australia. Rocky Valley Dam just 4 kilometres from Falls Creek Ski Resort.

Now that looks like great fun and a lifetime of memories!!! I've loved the GS Beamers since the R80GS came out and put a lot of miles on them while working for BMW NA for 25 years! Those last generations got a little tall in the saddle for me though, I'm only 5ft. 6 1/2in.

If you ever get the chance, take that GS Bravarian Alps School and ride!! That ranks right up there with the best in the world!!!!!!!!!

its a pity you don't ride no more, but great to hear how much you did!

I just have to be brave enough to pack the good camera gear with me but dust and big wacks and 10 million corrugations might upset Mr Canon and his glass appendages
