Default Spring has sprung

Just a snapshot from today of my neighbor's yard showing that spring has sprung here is southern Georgia.

Beautiful photo.

It might need a crop on the left side.

We got the opposite in Toronto.
Thanks for the memories.

i know. i try to give both comments and (constructive) critique. alot of people post and view photos to learn and smile.

I try not to write the same thing as someone else did or will. i hope i didn't offend anyone.

I was not offended. I am learning and welcome the constructive suggestions. I was at a workshop last month and the instructor kept harping to me to stop putting the subject in the middle. Therefore, I have been kind of extreme in placement of subjects lately.
Thank you both for the replies.

Nice start to spring, and a very sharp contrast to Ohio. We just had 20 inches of snow over the weekend.

I don't know what the instructor was trying to convey to you but theres very little use for bulls eye framing in photography>I wasn't there so i'll leave it alone.

However heres some tips besides the crop/frame.
See the tree trunk on the left not only does it ruin the image of the tree but it also dominants the frame.
Try repositioning your self so the tree is off to the side ,not behind.

By the way thanks for sharing I can smell the blossoms thru the screen, and I hope the tips will help you .

Awolford.
Thanks for looking and you can keep the snow up there. I lived in NY state and Indiana and do not miss the snow and cold what-so-ever.

David.
Thanks for the tips. I need to practice more. Because I am consuming myself with camera settings on each shot, I am not paying enough attention to composition.

The dreaded learning curve.
I shot in full auto for a year, this gave me the ability to work on my compositions and then I progressed to full manual settings.
That may be an option for you as well.

Pretty! Spring is so fantastical - I don't miss winters, but I do miss the wonder of Spring.
