Let's see some mobile phone captures - PhotoCamel

Has anyone ever taken pictures via their mobile (cell) phone that they thought were worthy of keeping/printing? Some of these phones now have more megapixels than my beloved Olympus E-1. Obviously the tiny sensors are not going to compete with the larger ones found in a DSLR, but I'd love to see how the technology is progressing.

A classic mobile phone shot Trent. These devices are the true democratic documenters of our time. No matter what or where a major event occurs, there's likely to be a camera phone to capture it.

yeah, I have a couple of the coup last year stuck on my mobile phone. No clue how to get it off there and onto my computer though...doh! lol

My girlfriend is making blurry mobile phones as an artproject:

rense the top one is great, I think she could get even more results by making sure each square was sharp.

That's a wonderful application for cell phone cams.

Now that is just what I was hoping to see posted Rense. It vaguely reminds me of Polaroid image manipulation (e.g. Polaroid Art SX-70 Image Manipulation). I like the idea of using basic devices to capture and manipulate something beyond the norm.

I will give her your compliments. About the sharp thing: the theme is about blurred photos so that doesn't go well together.

Rense did you notice that the white squares cause a common optical illusion (black dots when you stare at it);i think if the contrst was stronger they would be very apparent.
i google it,and see if i can find one.
